Nautilus Subsea performed detailed engineering of a ROV panel for Bandak and Precision Subsea. The lifting design was performed according to DNV 2.7-3 as a single event lift.
Nautilus Subsea AS was contracted by Bandak AS and Precision Subsea to perform lifting calculations, cathodic protection design and produce fabrication drawings of a ROV panel with fibre optics
The ROV panel was installed on the CDU Manifold on the Askeladd field at 350m
water depth. The panel will be equipped with 6 fiberoptic jumpers. After subsea
installation, a ROV shall use the ROV panel to connect fiberoptic connectors between
subsea structures

Both FE analyses and calculations was performed to verify the ROV panel .
The governing code for the panel was DNVGL-ST-E273, Portable offshore units.
The panel was designed for a single event lift.
